In general, some lenses have flea bites on the edges, and gold has a slight scratch on the surface, and I don't know if that's something that would affect its usefulness. That is what I have believed since the 1980s, and since I do not know anything about the welding trade, I cannot make any assertions or guarantees as to whether they are in effect in their security regulations. They are sold as is, like new old stocks. No guarantee expressed or implied by myself, as a seller.
